ABOUT

When I started this e-portfolio I was a 4th year student at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science with a focus in Occupational Therapy. I received my Certificate in Arts in Medicine in Spring 2017.  I was in the College of Public Health and Health Professions Honors Program and the International Scholars Program through the UF International Center.

Now, I am a third year OTD student at Washington University in St Louis! I anticipate graduating with my doctorate August 19, 2022. This OTD capstone tab serves as a chronicle of my capstone experience and project.

Growing up in I tried almost every sport, played several instruments, and was involved in the fine arts. My two greatest passions were swimming and art. I competed at the national level with my synchronized swimming team, The Gainesville Gaviatas, and was a two time regional champion with the Eastside High School Swim team. Outside of the pool, I was an IB art student that had two pieces displayed around the Gainesville community.

Research

As part of the College of Public Health and Health Professions Honors program I completed a research project in the Department of Occupational Therapy. My focus was on Identity Development in students with Learning Disabilities.

In my OTD program I also completed research projects. Check out the research tab to learn more about my OTD research.
